Asbestos removal
Asbestos abatement in a sealed work area for contractors, property managers, institutions and homeowners.

Where asbestos hides
Widely used until the 1990s, asbestos is still present in many Quebec buildings. Left intact it poses little risk; fibres are released when it is demolished, drilled or sanded. Before any project it must be identified, then removed according to the risk level set by Quebec construction safety regulations.
- Sprayed insulation and pipe lagging
- Plaster, stucco and joint compound
- Textured ("popcorn") ceilings
- Floor and ceiling tiles
- Fibre-cement panels
- Window putty and sealants
Why hire a specialist
- 01
Work is classified as low, moderate or high risk, and each level has its own requirements (containment, decontamination shower, respiratory protection).
- 02
A negative-pressure enclosure with HEPA filtration keeps fibres from spreading to the rest of the building.
- 03
Asbestos waste is bagged, labelled and shipped to an authorized disposal site.
- 04
A final air test confirms the space can be safely reoccupied.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my building contains asbestos?
Only a laboratory analysis can confirm it. We collect the samples and give you the results before any demolition.
How long does the work take?
From a few days to a few weeks depending on the area and risk level. The schedule is set out in the quote.
Do occupants need to leave?
The work area is sealed and kept under negative pressure. Depending on the project, occupants can often stay in other parts of the building.
Another company demolished without accounting for asbestos. Can you take over?
Yes, it is a frequent mandate. We seal the area, remove contaminated debris, do the final HEPA clean-up and have an air test done before work resumes.
The CNESST shut down my site because of asbestos. What now?
Call us. We carry out the required corrective work (containment, decontamination, clean-up) and document everything to support your request to resume the project.
How much does asbestos removal cost?
The price depends on the area, the type of material and the risk level of the work. We provide a free, detailed quote within 24 h, based on your plans, photos or a site visit.
Is asbestos dangerous if it is left untouched?
Material that is intact and in good condition releases few fibres. The risk comes when it is drilled, sanded, broken or deteriorating. That is why it must be tested before any work.
Which buildings contain asbestos?
Mostly those built or renovated before the 1990s: houses, apartment buildings, schools, offices and industrial buildings.
