Our commitment
Démo-Construct inc. (“Démo-Construct”, “we”) respects the privacy of the people who contact us. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we protect it and what your rights are, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).
Person in charge of personal information
Démo-Construct’s management is responsible for the protection of personal information. For any question, request or complaint: [email protected], (514) 561-5476, 100-1505 rue de Louvain Ouest, Montréal (Québec) H4N 1G6.
Information we collect
We only collect the information needed to answer you and carry out your project:
- Contact details: name, company, email, phone number.
- Project information: site address, description of the work, plans, specifications and photos you send us.
- Your exchanges with us: emails, calls and messages.
- For our clients: information needed for invoicing and performing the contract.
We do not collect any payment information through this site, and we never sell your information.
Why we use it
- To prepare and send you a quote.
- To communicate with you about your request or project.
- To plan and carry out the work, and meet our legal obligations (health and safety, environmental standards, accounting).
We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent.
Consent
By sending us your information through the form, by email or by phone, you consent to its use for the purposes above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; we may then be unable to follow up on your request.
Sharing with third parties
Your information is only available to team members who need it. We may share it, as needed, with:
- our technology service providers (website hosting, email, document storage);
- the independent hygienists and laboratories that analyze samples from your project;
- authorities, when required by law.
Some of these providers, including the website host, store data outside Quebec, notably in the United States. Before entrusting them with information, we make sure they provide adequate protection, as required by law.
Cookies and third-party services
The site currently uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It does, however, display a Google Maps map on the Contact page and load fonts from Google; Google may then receive technical data, such as your IP address, under its own privacy policy.
If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Retention
We keep quote requests that do not go ahead for no more than three years, then destroy them. Client files are kept for as long as our legal and tax obligations require, generally seven years after the work is completed.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: access limited to authorized people, accounts protected by password and authentication, encrypted connection (HTTPS) on this site. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
Your rights
At any time, you may:
- request access to the information we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent or ask for its deletion when we no longer need it;
- obtain your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
Write to us at [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact Quebec’s Commission d’accès à l’information (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Changes
We may change this policy. The current version is always published on this page, with its update date.
